Ireland Trip Day 13: Belfast (Draft)
Day 13: Belfast
Breakfast at hotel (buffet style Irish breakfast & continental breakfast). Black pudding is better than white pudding and not bad except really salty. We also tried some Irish cheeses including Brie. Brie was a bit rough. Michelle put it as “There are 4 aspects: 1, the smell is terrible don’t smell it. 2, the first taste is completely different than the smell but still not good. 3, when it melts in your mouth it’s really good and you want more. 4, when you burp it’s really bad. Don’t recommend. “
We then hit the road and made our way to The Gobbins to check them out but we found out it’s about a 3hr experience with rough climbing and scary bridge walks. So we decided not to do it since it was already 10 am and we wanted to go to Belfast. We then headed to belfast and made our way to the carpark. It was a mess trying to drive in the big city of belfast to the carpark but we got in.
We then walked towards to the Titanic Museum. Michelle and I used a sketch public paid bathroom. The titanic experience is crazy! There was so much to see and so much to learn. There was interactive displays and even a ride. Our tickets also covered the SS Nomatic which was in a dry dock outside the museum. We then stopped by McHughs for a couple pints and appetizers. It was then after 3pm and so we headed back to the car park to grab our luggage and walk to the hotel. We got checked in and freshened up and then hit the town.
